How it works

How offlease.tech works

offlease.tech is a listing venue. Buyers contact sellers directly. WeldonPC never holds goods or buyer money and offers no escrow, shipping, inspection or warranty.

Who can sell

Organizations: companies, government agencies, schools, colleges and universities, and nonprofits, selling equipment they own. Every seller account confirmed a work email at the organization's own domain; free and temporary email addresses are refused. Before a listing can be paid for and published, the organization's domain must be verified.

What "Domain verified" means

Domain verified means the seller proved control of the organization's internet domain (a DNS record, a file on its website, or a code sent to an administrative mailbox at that domain) on the date shown. Nothing else. offlease.tech does not inspect equipment or verify sellers' statements about title, leases, liens or data sanitization.

Review

Every listing is checked automatically for prohibited items and wording, and then by a person. Photos are reviewed too, including photos added later. A listing that is not accepted gets the reason and can be corrected.

The fee

Sellers pay 10% of the asking price × quantity, minimum $5, maximum $500, after approval and before the listing goes live. It runs for 60 days. Buyers pay offlease.tech nothing. Fee details and calculator.

Buying

Use the contact form on a listing. We ask you to confirm your email address, then pass your message to the seller, who replies to you directly. Price, payment, inspection, pickup, shipping and any paperwork are agreed between you and the seller. Advice for buyers.

Reports

Anyone can report a listing from its page. Reports go to a person; listings reported by three different visitors are hidden until reviewed.
