offlease.tech is operated by WeldonPC, 5829 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. This page says what the Site collects and why.

Sellers

• Account: your name, job title, work email, and when you accepted the terms. Your email is never shown on the Site.
• Organization: its name, kind, city, state, website and domain, and how the domain was verified. These, except the verification details, appear on your listings.
• Listings and photos: what you submit, the review decisions about them, and the statements you made. Photos are re-encoded and their hidden data (such as GPS location) removed.
• Payments: PayPal processes the payment. We keep the order, the PayPal transaction number, the amount, PayPal's fee, and the payer email PayPal reports. We never see card details.

Buyers who send inquiries

Your name, organization, email, phone, the quantity you mention and your message are stored and given to the seller of that listing so they can reply. The seller then has them under their own control. We keep inquiries for up to 180 days; unconfirmed ones are deleted after 48 hours.

Everyone

• No tracking cookies: no analytics services and no social scripts. The only script a page loads from another server is the banner on the public pages from AdEngine, WeldonPC's own ad network, described under Advertising; it also counts one page view per page as a daily total.
• Cookies: one session cookie, only on forms, the seller account and the admin area, to keep you signed in and protect forms. Public pages set no cookies.
• Counts: listing view counts are made on our server without cookies; your IP address is stored only as a salted one-way hash, used for limits against abuse and for counting.
• Reports are stored with that hash and are not shown to the seller.
• Email we send: account links, review results, receipts, expiry reminders (you can stop reminders) and inquiries. We do not send marketing.

Advertising

The public pages of offlease.tech (home, browse, categories, listings, and the pages on selling, the listing fee, how it works, prohibited items, data sanitization, advice for buyers, about and help) show one banner ad from AdEngine (adengine.us), the small ad network run by WeldonPC, the company behind this site. For now the ads are for WeldonPC's own services. Forms (joining, signing in, contacting a seller, reporting a listing), the seller account, checkout and order pages, ended listings, this page, the terms and the accessibility page show no ad.

To show an ad, your browser loads a script from adengine.us, asks it for one banner, loads the banner image, and reports once that the page was viewed and once that the banner was shown. Like any website, adengine.us receives your IP address, your browser type and the address of this site with those requests.

• No cookies, no profile. AdEngine sets no cookies, gives you no ID and does not track you from site to site.
• How your IP address is used. adengine.us looks up the approximate city for your IP address in a location database kept on its own server (nothing is sent to anyone else), so that ads meant for one area are shown only there. It also uses the address to count each ad view or click only once and to leave out robots and WeldonPC's own office traffic. The address is not stored with the counts; the temporary entries made from it expire within six hours and are cleared from the server within two days.
• What is kept. Daily totals only: page views for this site, and views and clicks for each ad. The adengine.us web server also keeps a standard access log (IP address, time, address requested, referring site, browser) for security; it is deleted on a rolling schedule.
• Clicking an ad passes through adengine.us, which counts the click, and then opens the advertiser's site, which has its own privacy policy.
• AdEngine sells or shares nothing about you.

How long we keep it

Draft listings untouched for 180 days, rejected and deleted listings after 90 days, and ended or sold listings after 365 days are erased with their photos. Payment records are kept for tax records; payer emails are removed from them after 18 months.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings in your seller account. To close your account, correct something, or ask what we hold about you, write to legal@offlease.tech. We do not sell personal information.
